Dogs welcome

As long as they are kept on the lead, muzzled if necessary, and you pick up their poop, dogs are welcome – and essential if you want to enter your prized pooch in one of our dog show categories. There'll be rosettes for Most Handsome and Prettiest Dog, Silliest Dog, Best Behaved and more. Enter your dog in any two categories for £5.

What time are things happening?

The event opens at 11.30am, with catering, the bar, the activities and the stalls open for business until close at 6pm.

Dog Agility: 1.30pm

Dog Show: 3pm

How to enter the dog show

Just come along, by 2.30pm, and register for any categories you'd like your pooch to be included in.

How much does this cost?

As this is a fundraising initiative for the club, we're charging £5 per car – but that includes a go on any of our activities. If you arrive by bicycle or on foot, that's reduced to £3.

BUT... if you book your ticket in advance for the best value, you'll get two activity passes instead of just one!

Cash or card?

Cash and card are both fine – activities are priced individually: visit the ticket marquee next to the dog arena to get your tickets.

If approaching from the Walton Bridge end of Walton Lane, drive past the car parks (on your left), then go up the hill until you turn onto Desborough Island. Head down to the fork in the road and keep right. If coming from the other end of Walton Lane, you must use the same bridge as the other is 'no entry' – Desborough Island operates a one-way system. So when you exit the event, turn right and leave the island on the second bridge.
